A Haven for Downtown's Street Artists
The "Downtown Art Park" is a private venue that is operated by Citizen LA. The Downtown Art Park runs during the Downtown LA Art Walk, which takes place the second Thursday of each month. The Downtown Art Park serves as a haven for street artists as well as a hub for general Art Walk Information. The ‘Bare Bones’ nature of the event allows us to keep the prices down to accommodate all budgets. This event is FREE to the public.

Bringing Neighborhoods Together
Citizen LA at its core is about helping people and bringing together the fragmented neighborhoods of LA.  The Art Park is a physical extension and manifestation of this philosophy.  The Art Park seeks to help all artists, galleries and businesses in Los Angeles, regardless of physical location.  We’re all on the same beach and should be sharing our shovels and pails while digging for treasure. 

Getting Your Message Out
The Art Park is an extension of Citizen LA, which means that there is an effective promotions and marketing entity behind it.  Moreover, anyone who chooses to participate in the Art Park will benefit from our entire promotions network which includes: a monthly printed magazine, a well-trafficked website, a live coverage website, the Art Park website, a fashion blog, social networks and a team of loyal brand ambassadors that are second to none.
